Brian Jo e to step down as Bidcorp executive chairman
Bidcorp’s executive chairman Brian Jo e will step down from the role at the end of June in order to launch his own investment  rm.
However Jo e, who is also chairman of parent company Bidvest, will take on the role of non-executive chairman at Bidcorp.
Jo e’s departure marks the  rst time he will not be part of the management of either company since founding the group nearly 30 years ago in 1988.
Fastjet welcome Sylvain Bosc to heavyweight ranks
Low-cost pan-African airline Fastjet has appointed former South African Airways chief commercial o cer Sylvain Bosc as its new head of commercial activities.
Bosc arrives in the role with a wealth of experience, having previously held the position of chief commercial o cer at French carrier Corsair as well as previously working for the Air France KLM Group. “Fastjet holds signi cant potential as a business and righting the business and positioning it for inevitable growth is an absolute priority,” said Bosc.
Liquid Telecom makes two executive appointments
Pan-African telecoms group Liquid Telecom has made Raj Jandu the new CFO of Neotel, along with Michael Allschwang, who has been appointed Neotel’s chief sales and marketing o cer.
The newly appointed executives will form part of a new leadership team that will oversee major investment in Neotel’s networks, having joined the Liquid Telecom group in February.
Jandu joins Neotel directly from Liquid Telecom, where he served as CFO for the East Africa region, whilst Allschwang comes with 13 years of experience at Vodacom.
Kenya Airways makes Sebastian Mikosz its new CEO
Sebastian Mikosz has been appointed as the new managing director and chief executive o cer of Kenya Airways, taking over from Mbuvi Ngunze on June 1.
Mikosz has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, having previously served as CEO of Polish Airlines.
The appointment represents the culmination of a lengthy global search for the national carrier’s new CEO, which involved international consultancy  rm Spencer Stuart.
