The government will build
four  yovers along a 14.1km stretch of the four-lane two- way motorway which links
the Sakina section of the city to the Tengeru Township in Meru. The new highway also feature tra c lights and zebra- crossings, which will bene t pedestrian road users, along with modern road signs for motorists.
Nigeria explores possibility of new national airline
Nigeria is aiming to advance its aviation sector by appointing a team of advisors to help set up a national airline and develop its aviation infrastructure.
Junior aviation minister Hadi Sirika said a group of six  rms, including German carrier Lufthansa, would advise the government on the process
of setting up an airline, along with an aviation leasing company and a maintenance hangar.

N1.52 billion funding budget has been approved by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo
The plans re ect a concrete undertaking of President Muhammadu Buhari’s election promise to create a national airline for the West African nation.
Nigeria’s aviation industry has long been neglected in terms of investment, which has left the country with poor quality infrastructure.

motorcycle Electricity connectivity reaches 32% in Tanzania

Over 32% of households in Tanzania were connected to electricity in 2016, according to the Energy Access Situation Survey.
The report, which covered mainland Tanzania, was released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and highlighted key rural-urban
di erentials across the East African nation.
Across urban dwellings,
the survey found electrical connectivity reached 65.3% in 2016, while throughout rural households, only 16.9% were connected to electricity.
